Our Lobby is Still Closed to the Public, and Here's Why:
It has been a crazy past few years., and we're not holding our breath for things to return to normal anytime soon. As you might know, the health department required shops like our's to be curbside only when businesses were allowed to open back up. While that is no longer the case, we discovered how much more relaxed our grooming dogs were without unfamiliar people coming and going all day. More relaxed grooming pups also means Safer grooming dogs, and that's something worth keeping! We get a large number of pets at our facility that have been turned away by other groomers, and we pride ourselves on going that extra step to keep them calm, happy, and safe... even if that means losing new customers because we are keeping our doors locked to the general public. Keeping our doors locked, and operating by appointment only means we can take our time with your gentle giant on the floor, snuggling with them as they're being groomed, without worrying about a stranger popping in, upsetting. your pup. This means we can train your reactive dog, and build trust and confidence with them, without whisking them away every time some one comes up to the door. This means our small business can keep our priorities on the dogs here with us, and we think that should always be our top goal. We understand not allowing parents in means some will chose to go elsewhere, but that's a risk we're willing to take. We will be hosting open houses in the future for everyone to come meet our family, and all of our training classes are held indoors in our facility as well. Thank you for your understanding!
